NEXUS lives in your Nexus folder. Launch it, then use Files, Terminal, Editor, and local AI in one window.
In File Explorer go to C:\Nexus.
Run npm start or double-click start.bat.
Open the AI tab. If Ollama is missing, choose Yes and NEXUS installs it plus a small fast model.
The desktop app is in this project. Copy a command or grab the launcher script.
NEXUS is a developer-focused desktop environment built with Electron.
The core NEXUS app is free to run from this folder with npm start.
Core desktop features are designed to work locally. Optional services such as cloud AI may require internet.
